Maltofer Iron tablets help treat dietary iron deficiency in adults/ adolescents where the use of ferrous iron supplements is not tolerated or is otherwise inappropriate.
It has fewer and milder side effects compared to ferrous iron supplements, therefore you experience lesser nausea and constipation, while still getting an effective dose of iron.
Maltofer iron is absorbed by the body in an active and controlled manner. The active ingredient in the syrup ensures your body only absorbs the iron that it needs and when it is needed.
Dosage form: Tablet
Directions: Treatment of iron deficiency in adults and adolescents (Children ≥ 12 years) Take 100 mg to 200 mg iron (1 to 2 tablets, 10 – 20 mL syrup, or 40-80 drops) daily preferably with food, or higher doses as directed by your medical practitioner.

The tablets can be consumed with water.
