Extract from sheep placenta cells has a high nutritional content and is a rich source of nutrients, growth factors and bio–active cytokines. Providing the foetus with all the nutrients and oxygen required for growth, it is believed to contain a high level of special proteins (placenta proteins) which stimulate cell growth, boost metabolic processes, speed up tissue regeneration, regulate hormone secretion and stimulate immunity.

Dryness is one of the main factors that contribute to the ageing of the skin. In order to prevent pre–mature ageing, it is important to keep the skin as moisture rich as possible. Applying placenta cream to the skin on a daily basis will assist in keeping the skin well moisturised and will protect it from harmful environmental factors such as heat, sun and cold. The lanolin in placenta cream contains water–repelling characteristics and acts as a lubricant to retain moisture in the skin, placenta extract assists in accelerating tissue regeneration and Vitamin E improves skin moisture retention and restores the smoothness and softness to the skin.
